Today was the first day we had any wind. I was out diving though. Maybe tomorrow. Diving is killer! Many sharks and a eagle ray. I am off to have another 5 dollar lobster burrito! :-P

Mark J,

I lived in Belize City for four six months and four of them, I flew to the Island of San Pedro every weekend for four months... Got to know Ramon pretty well, of Ramon's Village... I loved it there on the island... And no I didn't windsurf. I never saw any rental gear... Later, I've seen that they have the rental shops... I'm sure it's nice...

In fact, flying over in the four seater plane, the pilot let me fly the thing for half the flight. I have my private pilot's license on Microsoft Flight Simulator! ha ha... I'm still alive! Luckily.

There are a number of people there that I have such great memories of... I haven't been back since 1996... I'm sure it has developed quite a bit since then. We stayed in the only "manaca hut" over the water that was there at the time... And there were NO big hotels. Just a bunch of smaller B&B type places... What's the commercialization like now?

I can't remember the exact name of the lobster restaurant there with a sand floor, but it was soo good...

The Blue Hole, just is, a blue hole. At least that's what this funny older scuba guide from New York was telling us with his hat on sideways. In fact, if you wouldn't mind I'd love to see some pics of your trip... Hey, if your trip included SOME windriding, I think it's fair game to show some cool pics of different aspects of the trip... Like underwater pics of scuba diving there... I plan on getting there soon.
