Nov 14 Waroo 9 snowkiting!!!!!!!!

I thought I should check the new ballfields by the Ice rink, at the junction of kearns and rt40, I arrived AROUND 9:30 just as Tommy Renyolds was rolling up a 7.5 Frenzy He said it was a bit to Gusty but he had still put in a few reaches (and airs) on his telemark skiis. We pumped up the waroo 9 and had at it. The Gust were so strong I spent a lot of time just trying keep the kite steady and then figure out the snow factor, but I still put in 40 minutes of kiteing before the wind got to wicked to even control the kite. It was sick!!!! Couple of airs and a lot of edgeing down to grass so I really got a core work out. SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOD The space is a bit small, but for a virgan snow kiter it was just fine!!
