Snow Coverage - Strawberry, Park City, Rush

Anyone want to give us an update on snow coverage at the above locations? Skyline and PowMow have ample coverage, but they are both farther away. I am really curious if we can ride a little closer to home.

Tommy Renyolds and I rode the field on the east side of kearns Blvd across the road from the national ability center from 10-1;30 today. It was rock boardtastic but for a little while we were lit up and touching the sky!! (tommy more then I)

Second day snowkiting!!! soo good me on a 16.5 windwing bow, Tommy on a 12m frenzy.

Landed some spins and learned to snowkite...

Sorry its a bit tracked out now but still good... Hit the ground in spots but its nice and grassy under because they where grazing sheep there all summer..

Glad to see that someone is having fun in the new snow. That spot is affectionately known as "Desperation Flats." I drove by this morning on my way to work and checked it out. It looked pretty good.

I don't think Strawberry is quite ready. The sagebrush out there takes 2'+ to cover it up and the Daniels snow stake (higher elevation) only has 18".

Thank you for the update. I went to Strawberry River. There is enough coverage to ride there. Chicken Creek still needs another couple feet because of the sage brush.

Hi,
What and where is the National Ability Center? I don't find it in the telephone book. I, too, would like to find somewhere closer, have never tried out my 19.5 meter kite and want plenty of room on flat terrain for my first few attempts, probably on skis.

Just west of the junction of Kearns and rt 40 Park city. But if you get off the Park City exit on rt 40 look for the open gate to the feild full of tracks on the left right after getting of forty. If you come to a road on your left you have gone to far.
