I know this is an old topic and only effect some of us and there are plenty of other areas to ride, but I cant help to imagine what is coming.

I spoke with a guy up at PM today. He said that Doplemayer was planning to build another lift next summer. The goal was 4 years 4 lifts. Once of which would top out near the raintree area.

OO_Auggie, can you confirm?

Also, PM is sold, done deal. Investors have big $$$ real estate development plans and are moving plans to reality.

When I think about our meeting at PM, I wish I could hear what they were really thinking (or know what they know) when they mentioned it might not be a good time to invest in a snowkite terrain park now because of where future development might be built.

I can confirm that all of the rumors are rumors still. Everything that you say about the lifts I have also heard. Things have moved very slow in the past, but could move faster now-maybe. I did tell them at the meeting that if you build houses, you don't shut down the kiting-we will move further out. Someday we will be able to drive to Flattop mountain. We need to get the new owners representative started kiting.
