X-dance Film Festival

The X-dance film festival is going on up in Park City. They show a bunch of snowboard, ski, skate, wake, surf, mt. bike, moto cross... I guess you just call them action sports videos. This year they have a kitesurf video showing this Friday night called Los Angeles Afternoon. It looks like the film is only 10-15 minutes long though. All the videos are free, so if its lame you can just leave. The vids are showing at 333 Main Street on the second floor.
Heres the schedule:

Runs through Monday night. Most times they have the film maker and athletes there to talk about the movie afterwords. Laird Hamilton and Doerner have been there for their big wave movies, the DC skate and snowboard team, pro snowboarders and skaters for theirs. Check it out if your interested. Usually good times. I've never made it to their awards party- heard they are legendary.

Too Bad I missed the Kitesurf film, I just checked the schedule and looks like it only played on Friday night. Anybody catch it yesterday in PC?

I ended up going to it. The video was only about 5 minutes and wasn't the greatest for kite action. Luckily the next few movies were pretty good. Jeremy Jones and Keir Dillon were there to talk about the latest Burton movie. That made it worthwhile. Jeremy Jones is hilarious. I've never seen someone in a movie like that sketch over anything. Nice to see how someone as good as he is still has second thoughts about going for it.
Hopefully next year they will have some better offerings for kiting.
