Daily Wind forecasts, questions about weather, gear, locations, etc.

I've got from the 8th through the 18th available for a road trip and I'm wondering if anyone's been to Baja in March. Is it worth it with only 10 days total to travel. What are the roads like? Can I get there with my 2 wheel drive van? I'd be taking windsurfing gear, mountain bikes, paragliders, and possibly climbing gear. Anyone had any problems at the border with gear? I heard of one person getting his wings confescated there. Any input would be appreciated!!

Dave-
If I was you I would head right to Punta San Carlos and stay there for the duration. It is definately good in March and you can score some epic North or West swell there. Probably a little early for a South swell, but you could get lucky. Wind is guaranteed. Fantastic wave sailing and kiting. Not any climbing as far as I know. I imagine you could paraglide on the bluff if you were willing to hike up, but the setup would be rough with all the rocks and cactus. The best side-off wave spot with waves for all abilities.
