Is it blowing... or should I be mowing?????

For years I have been in contact with Mat at weatherflow.com
Better known as iwindsurf/ikitesurf.
Pennys has not been on thier site for a while because of issues with mesowest.

Pennys is now back up!!!!

I also asked him to put up sensors with new links I have found for other sites.

Weber canyon (power plant)
they call it Pineview
I got my first page today. I have it set to tell me when the wind shifts to the west and over 12mph, in Weber Canyon. It doesn't mean Pineview has the same wind, but it's a good predictor.

Skyline isn't really accurate, but is better than nothing.

This may not mean much to most of you,
but I pay for the FX membership which allows me to get text messaging
for these, and other locations when the wind starts to blow.
Remember the wind pagers in the Gorge?
It's close to that for any area on iwindsurf.
I find this service invaluable for finding wind.

Of course nothing beats Craig, but it all helps a little.

What is the most usefull for Deer Creek, I just don't go there enough.

Deer Creek Dam Chute?

or
Sundance

Strawberry, Daniels Summit

I was also thinking Bluffdale, predictor for Utah Lake.

Any oher suggestions?

He also changed the Evanston meter to Burns Field.
It use to be some other, non useful meter.

(Winter-off topic) The Powder Mountain Sensor at the Towers was installed by a guy from Jack Johnson in Park City. He was waiting for a land line last fall from Powder Mountain but may exchange some hardware for a cell phone connection if the land line doesnt go. Should have a station up for next winter.

Hey Buddy,

The Dan Chute (When it's available) is pretty close to what you'd see on the water at that time. Sundance is more of a predictor, and is about 8 MPH stronger than what you're going to see about an hour later
coming over the Dam. The Heber airport will let you know if/when
the wind has made it all the way down the lake.
I like that predictor for Pineview at the mouth of Weber though.
Should be very usefull.

At least, that's what I think,
