Hi Kenny,
There should be some pretty dense
air over the GLS in the AM, but............... the valley pressure is 30.15
and steady, that doesn't bode well for much air movement, and what
little wind does occur will likely be prevailing Southerly around
the Wasatch front. There will very likely
be some North at the Salt Ponds PM, but I doubt it'll get much above 6
or 8 MPH. I think for that wind to develop, there really needs to be
rapid heating out in the West desert causing a "mini" low pressure
out there and sucking the air towards it. It was pretty warm out there
last night.
Just my .02
Good luck,
-Craig

I am curious if you think that there will be big gear rides at the Salt Ponds this weekend. I would think that the thermal off the lake will be enhanced with the higher temperatures and the GSL still be relatively cool. May work for landboarders at Burmester as well.
