Arrived at 1 PM to lackluster wind, but it soon picked up and at times there were 10 or more kiters on the water. Around 4:30 it picked up enough to rig down to a 9M, the wind actually became more steady as it strengthened. Saw lots of faces, I won't try to recap because I am sure I will miss someone.

Some highlights - Ryan's quad kiteloop. I didn't see it, but it was huge and he ended up landing on the ground instead of the water. Fortunately, Ryan was not hurt and it appeared the kite was fine as well.

Jason's speed run topping 40 mph in the flats on an 11M Instinct.

Everyone left with aching arms and legs with big grins plastered on their faces.

Wednesday Session Part 2

Postby mike rossberg » Wed May 02, 2007 11:20 pm

The wind kept going strong until sunset. I rode Kenny's 9m from 5:30 to 8:00. I even rigged a sail later in the evening but it was too late. Great afternoon!!!
