Sunday June 10 DC Sailboat Beach - 8.5 & 140 Litre Board

While all of you guys were down to Island Beach I was the lone sailor up at Sailboat Beach. Wind started fairly good around 1:00 then tapered off but came back strong in the 4:00 range. I had a few wild tailwalks & two spectacular crashes on one reach then it settled down & the best wind of the day was about 4:00 to 5:00. Boats were an issue & I believe one wave runner showed up just to torment me. He was always in the way doing doughnuts or flying back & forth perpendicular to my reaches. Wind was stronger on the far shore & lighter on the inside. Seemed to be bouncing off the mountain so some reaches were almost up the lake.
