HPL New designed Boom Head....

I took a chance at the swap and bought the $30 redesigned HPL boom head for my super size carbon HPL boom that I have had for a couple of years. What an improvement!! My boom used to creak and bend at the head connection when i really loaded it with a big sail and my big body.. but this new design is solid.. Absolutely no movement and no bending at that joint anymore. Not sure if its that big of difference for a smaller setup or smaller guys but for the heavyweights a noticable improvement. I think I will buy one for my smaller slalom carbon boom as well now...

I too bought one at the swap. I put mine onto an older aluminum boom. Only catch was that I had to grind off some plastic tabs on the boom body.
