Well lets see, George Ward, Mike Egan, Carl C, Steve ?, and I made the morning effort. The wind meter had good news the whole way out there.
I think most all of us were on the water right around 7:30am. The summer heat kills it a lot sooner. I was done by 9:30am to get back to work.
I sailed my regular setup 6.3 ezzy 100 liter jp. I might have had the smallest setup??? But everyone was right in that 6.5 range. I definitely had to work the board onto a plane.
I was impressed to see George pulling duck jibes and then watch Carl come screaming through on his 7.5 and pull a prefect text book example of a planning duck jibe (on both sides of the pond.) That place is a great training ground.
Hopefully we will have some better wind soon. I think if we all collectively work together we can "will" the wind back into Utah.
