Gorge Sailing from 7-20 thru 8-5

Postby Sarah Ranes » Thu Aug 09, 2007 9:29 am

It was an amazing couple of weeks sailing in the Gorge. 3.7 to 5.4 and I think there was only one day that we did not sail. Many days at Dougs, The Hack, a few at Maryhill and the Wall.

Had to buy a new small board, since my much loved Thommen T1 got a fin box leak, and the deck is going soft and has a small crack in it. IF ANYONE HERE, IS GOOD AT BOARD REPAIR, AND WOULD BE WILLING TO HELP ME WITH IT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. It might become my winter project, of learn to board repair.

Saw a lot of Utah riders come through, and got to sail with a few, which was fun. I'm finally getting over sore muscles and bruises, and getting rested up again. But wishing that I was still there getting tired and sore.
