Hit the heber ball field about 1:30 to very gusty conditions. Hacked my way through a 2 hour session on my 5M frenzy. Just starting to get the landboarding thing down. Thanks Bordy for the advice about removing the foot straps, although it seems very hard to set any kind of edge. It's scary how fast you can go. Went of DC after to see what was up. Talked to Jim, he said it gusted to 41. Someone was out on a 13m getting awesome hangtime. Hats off to whomever that was. I think DC has great potential for the rest of the year because the water is so low. Jim said the windsurfing crew was out on sub 5's.
The wind was gusty, but, hey, DC is always gusty. Pretty strong by DC standards; I was plenty powered on a 4.5. Other poleboarders included Judy (4.0), Paul (5.5), Angie, Brett (6.0) and Louis (7.5!!)
