Enjoyed a very nice 2.5 hr session with Marty. I rode Jon M's 17m SS T2 with my new Nobile EXT and Marty was on his 13m Instinct/ Liquid Force combo. I was pretty lit and probably should have been on the 15m, but Marty had it rigged and ready when I pulled up. What service!! Decided against going to DC due to cloud cover. Sulphur was out of the question since I had already made the drive from Kemmerer earlier that morning. I've never got it good on a kite at Sulphur anyway. Willard actually rules for kiting. Nice water and Sandy beaches. The wind comes in waves but is not very gusty. It will build, back off, then build again. Very kite friendly. You do need to be aware of on-shore launching conditions and beach-goers. Very scenic as well.

Excited to hear you and Marty made it out. I had a feeling it was going to be good, no brainer, just follow Marty. As papers blew out of the car unloading the kids for back to school shopping in Ogden, I new it was going to be good.

Thanks for joining me Jason.
Bump and jump fun on the outside.
Flat water fun in the cove(s).
16.5 mph avg. wind while there.

After 10 days in a row in the gorge,
and driving home Saturday night to an empty house on Sunday,
It was a treat to kite in Utah on my return.
