What an amazing trip to Lake Powell... We stayed on a house boat of a friend... It is the largest size houseboat that is currently found on lake Powell... We had a group of 35 people on board! And it still didn't feel too crowded w/5 bedrooms and 3 baths...

I threw the Startboard and my 95L Quatro on board... Of course, being one windsurfer amongst many who were strictly boaters, I was't about to try and convince the group to stay on a beach in the main channel... So as we made it further and further from the main channel I wrote off bringing gear as a waste... However, the place we anchored ended up having a perfect thermal that every evening proved fruitful... I was able to give 15 people a lesson... They tore it up on the startboard... I used the waverunners to follow them around... (we had two of those motorized evil crafts!)... Extremely successful lessons... 5 different people sailed in the almost full moon light, 75-80 degree water, and 85-90 degree night time temps!

It did blow full on 5.0 on two occassions... Since we were also wakeboarding, airchairing (which is an amazing challenge, but fun), scuba diving, cliff jumping ;), the wind that I had was as much as I needed for the trip...being that Lake Powell is where I learned to windsurf, it is always great to return to that grab bag of wind!
