Happy, Happy....

My 16m ripping may have been a blessing in disquise. 13m bul loved the wind on Pineview today. Couldnt tell if it was a stellar day, or off and on as usuall. I think it was off and on cause my buddy John, walked up wind a couple of times. I could move my kite around quick for power when needed it, and it pulled up wind in gusts and got some jumps in. Who needs big kites. Lets see, where did I here that before. I'm a believer, 13m and door for me this fall. Thouht I could kite all the way up to wind surfer beach, but couldnt quite make it.

Wind was on yesterday, couldnt make it out. Wind picked up today just before 1pm. Got 1hr 20mins riding, no beach time or walking, and the wind was still blowing when I stopped. Started to die around three.

2 kiters up at wind surfer beach, having little luck. Yes, yes 13... wo hoo.

Mike,

It has been turning on about 1pm. Quality varies and it seems to taper about 3pm. No afterwork sessions. I'm going to try again this afternoon, 1pm.

What do you use to predict if it's going to blow? Today looks pretty still so far.

Thanks.

Exactly! I think. It helps if Craig says there isnt any wind. You'd really need to talk with Marty, Vern, Doug, etc. I guess, first look for Spring and Fall. Fall is starting about now. Cool temps in the am up here and warm temps down in Ogden in the PM.

During the summer you might get lucky the first, second, maybe third day after it starts to warm up after a cold front. I little west wind helps. Not sure you can really predict. Some of these guys have been around for 20+ years and havent figured it out completely. I'm hoping to stick around to test my theories.
