Update on Lindon beech.

Postby Arpi » Thu Sep 13, 2007 8:03 am

I was at Lindon beech last night, and it's surprisingly cleen.(better than it was) The lunching area is big. You still have to walk done from the road, abouth 100 feet to the water. The reason why I'm posting this because looks like it is a South front coming our way, whit a potential for strong South wind, on Friday, and Saturday, so if you looking for a location to ride, Lindon is a possibility.

See you on the water.

Postby Jacob Buzianis » Thu Sep 13, 2007 10:36 am

What do you mean its surprising clean there now? Lindon has always been bonfire party beach. It gets trash everytime there a party. Was there a big clean up there or something?

Thanks for update Apri.

Mike,
the beach is just 1 mile South of Lindon boat harbor. I'm sure it is on the map.
Jake,
I don't know what happened, but it's plenty clean place for set up your rig, whit out tearing a part.

Here a link to Lindon Beach. Normally you would get to it from 1600 N Orem exit but there is construction on the road to the Marina and Beach so you need to go to the Orem Center St exit then to 400 S and follow the signs to the Marina.

i want to extend a big thank you to kevin for the exquisite directions to lindon and notice of the road closure. after a very long drive from salt lake it was nice to know i wouldn't be extending my drive any longer by searching for the beach. your directions took me right there.

THANKS!

Was out there today, and it looks like a group of pallet burners showed up after you guys left yesterday. Huge bonfire size pile of smoldering ashes right in the middle of the beach. Still had smoke coming off it when I left at 4pm. People suck. Can we beg the police department to do a nightly drive-by. It would help keep their quota up.
