Arrived about 2pm to gusty conditions of 0 - 25+. It only got worse as the day wore on and everyone was off the water by 3:30pm. Sailed in every direction possible and from 0 wind to way overpowered. Only consolation was Jim measured the water at 55F, only down 1 from last week. Sailors included DCJIM, John F., George W., Mike, and ...can't remember now.

The other sailor was Duane, who was handling a 7.5 in the same gusts that were threatening to tear a 6.0 out of my hands.

As Kevin says, the wind was pretty gusty; my on-the-beach wind meter measured a peak gust of 37mph.
