Nice treat. 13M was tasty but an 11M would have been really SWEET. Depowered about 1/2 on 13M. Nice swell, wind was strong but a little up and down, probably 10-25+, New kites really work great for DC. Full cold water gear for me. DC Jim and Todd no gloves. Jason K and Ralph S were in wet suits, they looked kinda cold. The Ocean Rodeo Dry suits Rock this time of year and in the Spring. Wind started around 1:00 mainly over by 4:00. Great Fall afternoon WATER kite session. SORRY to see it winding down. I know you snow guys are twitchen to hit it, but this water weenie can't let it go. I'm looking forward to two weeks of 80 degree water and air temps in SUNNY WARM Barbados in Feb, and when I get back hit the WATER (Rush is plush or maybe slush) that time of year.

"A little up and down" is putting it VERY mildly. At about 1:30 (while Jon and Todd were out ripping it up) I was standing on the beach taking a rest and watching my wind meter; within a period of less than a minute a gust to 30 mph was followed by a lull to ZERO (the cups stopped turning)!

Air temp: 63
Water temp: 50
Peak gust at the launch: 35 mph

Jon, have fun in Barbados! That is by far my favorite place. I never got to kiteboard there, but the surfing is amazing (just watch out for the coral).
