A 50/50 kind of day; air 50 F, water 50 F. But the sun was shining, and thanks to a drysuit and neoprene hood, I was plenty warm. Began the session with bare hands, which worked fine until I started blowing jibes. Playtex gloves work for a while, but eventually my hands started getting cold even in them; DaKine neoprene mittens saved the day.

The wind look sketchy when I arrived at 2:30, so I rigged big - Prokids Formula board and 9.5 sail. By the time I got on the water at 3, that was plenty, as gusts up to nearly 20 mph were coming through. Planable most of the time until just before the sun set behind Timp at 4:30.
