Check out this trailer in hi-def http://vimeo.com/376197

Featuring local riders.....Jake B hitting some big rails and Rob W catching some big slopeside air... along with many other amazing snowkiters chasing wind blown terrain.

This film will get you stoked for winter winds.

Bring your skier and snowboarder friends as this is a great opportunity to share the Snowkite vibe with them... and more importantly bring all your windsurfing buddies, as winter is the right season to convert to kiting:)

THursday at 8 pm at Brewvies, Free admission. Prizes from Dakine and Ozone.

Brian Schenck

What are the odds that this thing is going to fill up? I have class until 8:30, and am planning on skipping out early to see this. Any chance I'm going to get turned away?

All UWA members should come.
Windsurfers should come just to share the windrider stoke,
and see some of the local talent, and local snowkiting locations.

Lets make it this fall's get together..
Plus,,,IT'S FREE.....

Plan on Me, Even though I'm a thru and thru WATER WEENIE, I'll be there. Good time to see the "locals" in action. If this turns out to be an unofficial gathering of the clan, maybe you better attend or risk getting assinged to position in the UWA, If you don't attend you'll for sure miss out on a good time and a major dose of STOKE.

They way it works, at least at the other ski films I've scene there, is they hand out tickets at the door to get a head count. At 150 tix they stop letting people in. Silly fire marshals want the isles clear :)

I will hold a dozen extra tix in case some folks arrive late....and if it does fill up we will run a second showing at 9pm...so every will for sure have a chance to get in.

If you get there after 8pm you might miss some of the free stuff. Motz is flying in with copies of the new film and a bunch of Dakine product.

This just in... Ozone has donated a 6 meter Access Snowkite to be given away this Thursday after the first showing of Project Cloud 9 at Brewvies.

The 6 meter is the perfect size for powering into your first Snowkite adventures, and is the ultimate high-wind tool for accomplished Snowkiters that seek the strongest conditions.

Also up for grabs are the new Ozone Imps, a powerful kite that is ideal for the first days on snow. Complete with a bar and 3 lines, the Imp can be launched and landed solo, making it easier than ever to master your kite skills.

Be sure to come down early, so you'll have time to register for the free kite drawing before the film begins at 8pm.

I am planning on it. Don't need it for the stoke, got plenty of that.

Great idea Jon! Rick, Les, and I will be holding mid term elections before the video so you better be there if you don't want to be the new pres.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I am planning on attending.

I've talked to some of the local windsurfers that are planning to attend,
Don't feel like you'll be pressured to convert to the "dark side" (enlightened side)
Just come enjoy the windrider camaraderie and win a free kite.
It's been a great year, lets end it as we started it,
just at Brewvies, not RM Pizza
