Where to ride 12/8 & 9

Rush looks like a good possibility today and tomorrow. Today may be a blizzard at times and heavy snow accumulation could shut it down at times. However, it is blowing 15 mph out of the north this AM. Tomorrow looks like it may be a repeat of last Sunday with more snow coverage - don't get stuck out there!

Herriman, PC, and Strawberry all have potential as well. Watch the PC indicators to get an idea of what the wind is doing at Strawberry, you want to see some decent north wind. Once again, heavy accumulation will be the deciding factor on whether it is a whiteout or good riding conditions.

Skyline has the snow. Today looks like a whiteout, but you never know until you are there, could be a white room or could be intermittent snow with enough clearing to ride, should be enough wind. Tomorrow looks like less snow, but the wind forecast doesn't look too promising.

Does Burmester ever get a good layer of snow? I know there's no terrain out there, but it seems like the wind is always blowing.

Josh,

The clay there is saturated with salt, so it would take A LOT of snow to get any coverage there. The wind will be stronger at Rush and far better coverage.
