Christmas Eve Session - Herriman?

Postby Kenny » Sun Dec 23, 2007 11:46 pm

Trying to figure where to go tomorrow. Looks windy just about everywhere, but a storm is coming in and if it is like the last one, I want to be close to home when it hits.

Thinking of going to Herriman. Has anyone been out to Herriman lately? I am curious about the coverage.

i was out driving around yesterday in the area. had to battle ikea for christmas sunday morning. coverage looks pretty sparse. i'd say we could hit the tail end of the storm, but that looks like it'll be christmas day? the fields Jason and i rode a few weeks ago were rock filled and we definitely need another good dump.

i then took the long way around to rush yestderday after i checked out herriman area. there looked like there were some pretty cool hills to kite about 15 miles down hwy 73 i believe. we would need a good south push, but looked fun.

oh, rush needs more snow too... you could still ride, but it would be sketchy.

wishin all my wind riding lunatic friends a very windy Holiday Season!

Mike,

From one wind riding lunatic to another, thank you for the report on the valley coverage. Guess I will be going up higher, probably PC or Strawberry.
