Kenny and I arrived early but at different times and both found a white out at the usual spot. Drove down towards electric lake, spotty winds, went back to the open area just near Fairview Lakes (the reserve spot) Kited the hills and valleys East of the road. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. At least a foot of fresh over a supportive base. good wind 10-15+, lightly snowing but good visability. Kenny was a gliding phenom, and I was putting figure 8's down the hill. BEST DAY THIS YEAR for both of us. We each had 2 2hr sessions. Ended the day by going for an explore up the valley back towards where the roads join up near the big parking lots at the turn off to electric lake. Could almost go anywhere you wanted. The weather closed us out around 3-4. Shared the joy with John L and ED ?. This was a day I'll dream about for weeks!!!!!Hopefully more of the same tomorrow. YAHOO

Ditto what Jon said. I actually arrived early enough to get 45 minutes before it closed out with me on top of the hill. Blindly made it down. Found a hill just east of the snowfences that was excvellent for riding/gliding - named it KGR (kite gliding reserve). Snow was pure Utah fluff, up to 2' feet deep in places. John L entertained us with Teli turns and glides. Jon made some sweet figure 8's. We really cut up the hill.
