A few riders were up in the morning as the first storm came in fast and early. Flew 11 and 10 meter kites but it got gusty with flat light. We left the mountain early.
Two hours later the skies cleared total blue, left a fresh layer of pow, and steady 9 meter winds for the entire afternoon.
Crazy that it ended up good. Dumping all day saturday... with 8 inches or more in the valley after today.

AAAAHHHHHH! I can't believe I miss that. I thought it was going to be white out all day. 50+ wind up there.
Glad you got the goodies.

Brian and Heather,
Your move to Mount Pleasant paid off! The rest of us were hesitant to make the long drive. I was wondering if it might be good there when I say how fast the storm cleared out today.
Glad you got the goods, looks like there is more white stuff on its way!!!

Wow... Perfect... The violent wind made it's way through during the night. Snowbird got a 99mph gust... The rest of the readings were suspect though, 369MPH!
I thought the same thing Jake.
9 meter seems like a sweet spot. Is that the favorite snowkite size amongst the masses? or is there a favorite? I know that 4.5 seems like the windsurfing overall favorite...
