I checked the Pow Mow winds @ 2:15 and they said it was 21mph but with no visibility. I am teaching my neighbor to kite so I figured it would be blowing at Monte. I rigged by the road but the wind was light. When I finally got the kite launched I was able to go up to the ridge where the wind was much better. It was probably about 14-16MPH out of the south on the ridge 1/4 mile from the road. Chet had a hard time flying the light winds but he finally made it up to the ridge for a good session. We arrived @ 4:00 and kited till dark. Almost 4 hours of kiting isn't bad for a weekday.
