Where to Ride 3/31

Postby Craig Goudie » Mon Mar 31, 2008 8:43 am

Strawbs looks like killer conditions today. Solid North wind and a fair amount of new snow. But this is
the "Summer" report, so if you've a mind to brave the brutal cold, UL will serve up solid North wind in the
5.0 range from now until about 2 or 3 PM when the wind will slowly back off. Kiter's might want to try
Lindon, Windsurfers to Saratoga Springs Park. Rush will have afternoon Kitable North also, but probably
not as strong as UL, it will get very steady PM. It looks to me like it will be mostly clear sky's with a chance
of a snow flurries starting about 10 AM. Stay warm, and stay safe.

Tomorrow looks rainy/snowy, and pretty windless, as does Weds.

I kinda like "Where to Rude", but as you can see I've fixed the title (that danged U and I are soooo close together).
Don't let that stop you from being as rude as you like at Strawbs today though buddy, snag some turns for me.

I'm trying to avoid the Winter forecasting, I really need to take that break so that I don't get burned out,
besides you guys are all much better at it than I, and I think YOU should be forecasting Dec - March. ;*)

For those with limited time constraits - Richardsons Flats looks like a good possiblity for those who want to be rude. What you can't join me - shut your pie hole! Is that rude enough for you?

Welcome back Craig - we are grateful for you our fearless forecaster.

No one has been brave enough to take over the winter forecasting. I vote for Billy, Jake or Marty for the Strawberry/PC forecast and Brian or Heather for Skyline. Maybe Les or Augie will give us a northern forecast. Craig does deserve a break in the winters.

I think it is really RUDE that we have to go back to the snow. I went to ULLB on Sat but whimped out, too gusty 25-35+, too cold 45 degrees and too old ??
