I got my butt out there around 3:30pm. The air wasn't too cold about 48. I rigged my 6.3 and 100 liter JP. I was on and off a plane but mostly planning. More wind would have been nice then I wouldn't have noticed the cold water when getting dunked. The first time out every year is a wierd deal, takes me a few laps to relax and use the wind instead of fighting everything. I think another day will do the trick hopefully the air and water will be 10 degrees warmer.

Eric C, Jim H, and Mike Egan were great cheerleaders to get me going. By the way Eric I want a copy of those photos.
