Where to Ride 4/14

Postby Craig Goudie » Mon Apr 14, 2008 8:16 am

The first premium day of Spring wind with mid 70 degree air. Strong wind every where.
Grantsville is already sweet this AM with 4.5 conditions, and will hold through most
of the day with a mid afternoon lull. Best PM bet for windsurfers will be MM19 from
2 PM on through dark. Look for 5.0 to maybe 4.0 conditions out there building as
it gets later in the day. Kiters will see the strongest winds at Rush PM, but some very strong
(maybe dangerous) gusts should keep Kiters very wary. Most of UL will be Kiteable also,
and probably a little less gusty and a little lighter (still take your smallest Kites).
Mona Looks good PM, probably be more like 5.5 there. DC looking pretty strong this PM
with 5.5 conditions also.

It's all Good!

Tomorrow, strong South AM followed by Strong North PM. Look to Grantsville, and then UL
and Rush for the best rides, with partial clearing PM at UL for a slightly warmer mid 50 degree day.

Weds looks windless and very cold with maybe some snow.

Enjoy!
