Wow. Rush is back!!! ok somewhat ;)
Arrived there a little before 11:00 to see a few kites already flying high in the sky.
Rigged a 4.7 and it was perfect initially and got progressively too big. Could have easily ridden a 4.2 or less when I left. Had to leave early after a bad encounter between my mast and the side of my leg ;) Weird. Still really painful even now!!

Anyway, the water was nice (no gloves or hoods needed, a 4.3 was great), the reach is more than decent on a wave fin (bigger than Grants). So Yeah basically a lot of fun. It's funny how the crowd is so different from the "windsurfing days".. Could hardly recognize anyone but the spirit seemed to be the same although I did not socialize much due to some copious amount of sand blasting on the beach.

I'll be back :)
I suggest alternating Grantsville and rush so that you can clean you gear at Grants ;) My car is a mess!

Yup, dirt blasting. Took ten q-tips to get in all out of my ears.
