Sweet afternoon of kiting. Reasonably steady and of course it was a beautifull day, sunny and warm! I think everyone went home happy and tired including Billy who is back in action hanging 10 off his skim board. :)))

About as windy as it ever gets at DC. My tripod mounted wind meter (Windtronic 2) registered a peak gust of 48 mph at DCIB! As usual, the readings from my home weather station were lower. At IB, Judy Collins was untouchable on a 4.0 m sail and way too big a board. Other poleboarders included Steve Nyhus and seldom seen DC pioneer Tim Snyder, who, as usual, was having no difficulty holding down a 6.6 in conditions that I found challenging on a 4.5. Humbling!
