Sweet afternoon of kiting. Reasonably steady and of course it was a beautifull day, sunny and warm! I think everyone went home happy and tired including Billy who is back in action hanging 10 off his skim board.

About as windy as it ever gets at DC. My tripod mounted wind meter (Windtronic 2) registered a peak gust of 48 mph at DCIB! As usual, the readings from my home weather station were lower. At IB, Judy Collins was untouchable on a 4.0 m sail and way too big a board. Other poleboarders included Steve Nyhus and seldom seen DC pioneer Tim Snyder, who, as usual, was having no difficulty holding down a 6.6 in conditions that I found challenging on a 4.5. Humbling!
