Ward that is. I showed up at Sulpher with half of a universal. John D. now you can laugh.... I almost did not get to sail, Thanks to George, who had an extra, I got to sail....Thanks again George!
I never expected as much wind as we found, and The 9.0 and formula board were at the limit of what I can handle and have fun with, in those kind of gust. I could have been on a 6.5 with some of the strong gusts. Thanks Carl, for suggesting that I did well...., I for sure hit all angles of travel on the lake, but I have to say, I was worn out quickly.
Linda's boom broke on her, the front carbon piece, just cracked, the arms and tail piece, look fine. Sad part is I just sold mine at the swap in HR last weekend. Oh well, I guess we better keep more gear here next year, or at least have a better check list of what is needed to sail.
